After releasing the first Google Earth App just one year ago and it becoming the 2nd most downloaded app after just 6 months, the search engine giant has announced Google Earth version 2.0.

The latest update contains a few new features including allowing you to view maps that you’ve previously created on a PC directly on your iPhone or iPod Touch. They have also improved icon selection so that when you touch an icon a small glow will show up under your finger. Also a further 13 supported human languages have been added to bring the total up to 31.

Version 2.0 of Google Earth can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store
