Simple steps like the following can help us all cut carbon emissions, project our planets resources, be greener and save money this Christmas:

  1. Recycle your tree after Christmas. If you buying a real tree then either contact your local council to pick it up or take it down to the local household recycling centre to be composted.
  2. Buy second hand goods to give to people off popular auction sites such as Ebay or even charity shops, to help save some of the planets precious resources.
  3. Cut your carbon emissions by walking or riding a bike on shorter journeys rather than driving your car.
  4. If you’re getting a new mobile phone this Christmas then recycle your old one. Go to Sell Old Mobile Phone for more details.
  5. If you’re getting a new mp3 player or iPod under the tree this Christmas then dispose of the old one correctly at recycling sites such as Money4urMobile or Mobile Cash Monster
  6. Send electronic Christmas cards instead of paper ones, they can be just as personal and will help to save paper.

Have a great Christmas but make sure you spare a thought for the environment by using the above tips and many of your own.
