Money4urMobile’s representative, Simon Dunn said “We have seen a huge surge in tablet recycling in the past few weeks since the iPad 2 launch date was confirmed.” He continued “We anticipate an increase in recycling orders over the coming weeks from consumers upgrading to the new model for the sought after Apple iPad 2 or one of the upcoming Android models.”
Its likely that many more tablets will be recycled in coming weeks due to other manufacturers launching similar models to the iPad including Blackberry (Playbook), Motorola (Xoom), HTC (Flyer) and Dell. (Streak)
