One of the UKs leading online mobile phone recyclers RPC Recycle has recently announced that they are now allowing users to recycle their old iPods through their site.

The site used to only deal with old mobile phones has now added Apple iPods to their list. Their site is easy to use and anyone wanting to sell an old iPod simply needs to place an order like they would with a mobile phone and send in their old item using their recycling pack. Once received the unwanted iPod would be checked over by a technician and payment will be sent within just 2 days via cheque, Paypal or BACS.

RPC Recycle say that over 22% of UK residents currently own an old iPod that they no longer use. Any that are sent in for recycling will be either refurbished and re-sold or broken down in accordance with the WEEE directive.
