Recycling an old mobile phone may be the only way for many people to afford a new Apple iPad.

The new mobile handset is said to cost as much as £349 for a 16 GB model or £429 for the 32 GB model.

All UK networks have now announced their prices for the new phone. When choosing the best deal people should look at the cost of the tariff, cost of the handset and how much the monthly payments will be.

If the iPhone 4 is too expensive then people could consider buying an iPad instead which has already been reported to have sold over 3 million devices in just over 2 months.
