One of the UK’s leading mobile recyclers, Mobile Phone Xchange has recently announced that will allow their users to receive payment via Paypoint.

Using the new scheme customers of Mobile Phone Xchange can choose i-movo as their payment option when checking out. Once the old phone has been received a text message will be sent which includes a unique reference number, this text can then be taken to any of the 22,000 shops which have a Paypoint machine. The shop will need to see the text and then will pay the customer cash, they will then get reimbursed within 3 days.

This new Paypoint scheme is the closet any online recycler has got to offering cash in hand for old mobiles, iPods or iPads. Via Paypoint in most cases this will be a few minutes from where people live or work.
