O2 Recycle is one of the newest gadget recycling sites in the UK but have already paid out million of pounds to their customers. They are owned by O2 and part of the Telefonica Group who are one of Europe’s biggest mobile networks. Both O2 and non O2 customers can recycle their unwanted gadgets for cash at O2 Recycle.

Not only do O2 Recycle accept iPods and iPhones but also mobile phones, SAT NAVs, digital cameras, tablets including iPads and lots more.

O2 announced at the end of 2010 that any profits they make from O2 Recycle would be put into their Think Big initiative which helps to turn around the lives of young people in the UK.

How to Sell Your Unwanted iPod or Other Electronic Gadget at O2 Recycle

  1. Visit the O2 Recycle site here
  2. Find the gadget you want to recycle by using the drop down boxes. (Remember, anyone on any network can use O2 Recycle)
  3. If you are happy with the valuation then place your order and complete the checkout.
  4. Send in your old iPod or other gadget using the address provided. If you don’t have your own envelope then you can get one sent free of charge. Its best to use registered post if your item is of a higher value.
  5. Once your unwanted item has been received it will be processed and your payment sent either by cheque or to your bank (whichever you prefer) within 3 days.
