New Possible Apple iPod Touch Upgrade
A new rumour that has reportedly come from Apple suggests that a new upgrade for the iPod Touch could be released soon. If the rumour is true it will be great news for anyone looking to recycle their old iPod to get some cash for the latest model.
If the new iPod Touch upgrade is released then it is likely to feature Apple’s new IOS 5 running on it. There is also possibly a reference to iPod 4.2 which means that the next media player could be a huge upgrade or just an extra bit of code that means little or nothing.
Apple has launched a new and upgraded media player every year for the last 3 years in the Summer but as of yet this year they haven’t. However the iPhone 5 is supposed to be out in September which suggests that the upgraded iPod Touch could be released at the same time.
More rumours have said that the new iPhone 5 will have better cameras and a dual core processor, therefore it’s quite possible that the iPod Touch could have the same.
Apple due definitely have a lot of software updates planned for this Autumn including IOS 5 which will include better notifications, Twitter integration, iMessage and PC free setup. The company has also planned to launch iCloud which is a new online service for document storage, wireless backup and syncing of iTunes songs.
