Many people said it wouldn’t catch and and was a pointless device but they have been proved wrong as the Apple iPad has now sold 2 million devices since its launch just 2 months ago.

The iPad was released in the UK on the 28th May and in the USA around the start of April. Other countries where the iPad has only just been released include Australia, Japan, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Canada.

Apple are still having a hard time manufacturing enough iPads to meet demand because of their huge popularity so many people may still be in for a wait to get their hands on one.

CEO of Apple Steve Jobs said, “We appreciate customers’ patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone.”
