More Electrical Goods Need to be Recycled
Its hoped that by the end of March next year that people in the Bath area will have recycled as many electrical items to weigh as much as 25 double decker buses.
Electrical items that are being sent in for recycling in the area included hair dryers, phones, radios, mp3 players, iPods, digital cameras and lots more. Basically anything with a plug and a battery is considered an electrical item.
Last year over 235 tonnes of electrical items in Bath and Somerset areas were sent in for recycling which was the weight of 16 double decker buses.
Its hoped that every person in the country will recycle any old electrical items after Christmas at recycling centres or online. People looking to earn extra cash by recycling their old iPods and other mp3 players can do so at popular online recyclers including Mobile Phone Xchange or MirrorGoGreen.
