Orange iPhoneO2’s exclusive deal with Apple for the sale of iPhones in the UK and Ireland will come to an end on the 8th October 2009.

Orange and Vodafone have both signed deals to sell the iPhone in the UK and Ireland and Orange has announced it will begin selling it on contract and pay as you go before the end of 2009.

It has been confirmed that Orange will be selling both the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Up to now no release dates have been confirmed by Orange or Vodafone or tariff information but it is though the launch on each network may spark a price war.
