Anyone who uses their iPhone 4 as an alarm clock may have been an hour late for work this morning due to a bug which made the alarm go off late.

Although the clock on the handset went back automatically an hour yesterday for UK day light saving the alarm didn’t adjust.

After the problem occurred this morning hundreds of people were on Twitter complaining about the problem.

A similar fault occurred in Australia and New Zealand when clocks moved last month and if the bug isn’t fixed its expected to effect US users next week when their clocks move for the start of Winter.

Apple haven’t yet commented on the bug but did say that they were going to bring out a software update in October.
