In the USA the new Apple iPad is set to be sold with mobile carrier AT&T but here in the UK a battle is starting with O2, Orange and Vodafone over who will get the rights to sell the new gadget.

According to inside information Apple Executives are due to head to the UK next week to work out which mobile carrier will sell the iPad. However unlike the iPhone’s exclusivity deal that Apple had with O2 the iPad is expected to be offered to all carriers so its likely that Vodafone, Orange and O2 will all get a deal.

If there are however any doubts over the rights for the Apple iPad in the UK then its likely then a fierce battle will commence soon.
